In antitrust and competition analyses, regression analysis is frequently employed to empirically test the relationships between variables, such as demand and prices. Among the various types of regression analysis, a commonly utilized method is Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). Conceptually, this method can be visualized as plotting a line.
