In March 2025, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a previous ruling concerning a lawsuit filed by Real Estate Exchange (REX) against Zillow and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) for alleged unreasonable restraint of trade. REX had initially sued both Zillow and NAR in June 2021, but a jury ruled in favor of the defendants in September 2023. Subsequently, REX appealed the decision.
