On September 2, 2025, the U.S. District Court provided its remedies following a ruling that favored the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in its case against Google. We have previously analyzed the court's findings regarding Google's monopoly power in the general search services and search text advertisement markets, as well as the anticompetitive nature of Google's exclusive agreements. Now, we can explore the economic implications of the court's remedies.
